Oh captain, my captain

                                   oh captain, my captain!

Heroes are made by the path they choose, not the powers they are graced with.

The above quote goes well with our beloved Captain-Captian America. After watching Endgame, what really hit me was not Iron man's death but the fact that Captain America a.k.a Steve Rogers will not feature in any of the future Marvel movies.

Captain America is personally my favorite Avenger. He might be old-fashioned, maybe stubborn but the guy's got courage and righteousness by his side.

We initially see Steve Rogers in 1942 as a skinny dude who is determined to join the military but gets repeatedly rejected. Finally, everything changes when Dr.Erskine recruits him for the secret Project Rebirth. Steve transforms into the mighty Captain America with enormous strength.

During a mission at the end of Captain America: The First Avenger, he freezes in ice and eventually, found by S.H.I.E.L.D after 66 years. He is truly a man out of time. Then we see him initially struggling but gradually coping up with the modern world and his fellow Avengers.

Cap was the leader of Avengers, though Sam Wilson is capable, I still doubt if he is as efficient as Steve. Steve had a good rapport with all his fellow Avengers. I personally loved his friendship with Natasha. To be honest, I was actually shipping them but it didn't happen till the end. It's ok, its always been Peggy as far as Steve is concerned and did get a satisfactory ending.

His friendship with Bucky was also one of the honest friendships in MCU. And not to forget his love\hate relationship with Tony. He always stood for his friends and his country, no matter what. Even in Endgame, there's a particular scene in the final battle where everyone's down and there's Thanos' enormous army coming in front of them, though Cap only has his almost half broken shield with him, he slowly stands up fully willing to take on them. It's not possible for him alone to fight them but that willingness to sacrifice himself is just mind-blowing.

Cap, you will always be my favorite.
